I had a failed surgery approximately 2.5 years ago to release an abscesses anal fistula. I have been diagnosed with Chrons and 5 ulcers in the lower intestine prior to this surgery. I treat these conditions naturally. When this procedure was performed, two large of a hole was opened through the rectum, allowing feces in the cavity after every bowel movement. I have partiicipated in one other stem cell placebo clinical trial which failed after the stitches ripped open on day 3.
I am currently working to have a Dr. in Spain perform the surgery to repair the hole in the rectum joined with injecting embrohnic stem cells during the surgery. This of course is an experimental method and requires particiopation of Independant facilities with different agendas.
I am requesting input on top physicians in the anal fístula community and stem cell community so to gain other opinions and a solution for this ever ending pain and discomfort that occurs due to each bowel movement. Your input is appreciated. Sincerely Justin Smith

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. My son was diagnosed with CD at six years of age when an anal fissure took him to emergency. He started Remicade at 10 and although it was a very difficult decision, it put him into clinical remission and healed the fissure. The treatment goal was to avoid surgery until development years had ended and catch up on lost growth. It gave him a good quality of life -- that was my focus. I also have CD and have been on Remicade for 2 years after resisting treatment for more than a decade. My quality of life has improved significantly and I"ve come to learn that chronic inflammation in the body is not good for it. The journey you decide to embark on with this disease depends on what you prioritize. Best of luck.
