Biologics and scarring

Wed, August 18, 2021 8:20 PM

Hi there. Wondering if anyone has noticed something similar... I started on Remicade 5 years ago and have noticed that I scar so easily now. Even the smallest scratch will leave a bright red scar. Has anyone else on a biological experienced this?

I experience the same things. Wait for the small bumps to go away. You might be able to use scar creams or sheets like Mederma Advanced Scar Gel or ScarAway Clear Silicone Scar Sheets. heardle 80s

It can take longer to heal while on immunosuppressants but if this is a new symptom you should check with your physician to see if this is a possible side effect and not something that needs to be checked out.
