I have been thinking about taking yoga classes. Does anyone know if it helps with the pain of Crohn's disease? I read somewhere that exercise helps.

Yoga has been amazing for me and really kept my Crohn's in check. I also do Tai Chi and find that I'm slowly finding ways to deal with everyday life, even outside of these classes.
It's worth the money to go to an actual class instead of following DVDs, if you can. I tried these first but found I was making a lot of mistakes in my postures that have made a big difference in the overall results. A good instructor is worth their weight in gold!
You can also try guided meditation if you want to do something from home. There are several CDs out there that you can follow, and it only takes a few minutes a day. Making time to meditate every morning will start your day off right and control stress.

I appreciate the feedback. I have been in such a bad way here lately. I need to do something to snap out of it. I always tell people I have Crohn's, it doesn't have me! I have to start living like that again....

My doctor reccommended yoga to me 2 weeks ago, being well aware of my Crohn's issues. It can serve you well in more ways than one. Enjoy yourself. Take some moments to love your body, insides and all.
Sincerely.
