New to CCFA but old to Crohn's

I was diagnosed with Crohn's and received a bowel resection (removing one foot of colon and one foot of small intestine) in October 1973 at the age of 20.  Years went by with not one flare up until just recently.  In 2006 I was hospitalized for a week with a blockage in the small intestine.  After that I quit smoking and changed my diet to eliminate red meat and eating low fat and high fiber.  This year I was in the hospital for a day in August with another blockage.  The doctor tells me there are two areas in my small intestines where they have narrowed to the width of a pencil thus making it difficult for things to pass.  I had a colonoscopy performed exactly one week ago and am happy to say I passed with flying colors.  .  . totally clear and no polyps.  I have a small bowel series scheduled for November.  I am suffering from a constant backache though after the colonoscopy . . . .has anyone else had this happen?
