Tips dealing with Drain

Does anyone have any tips in dealing with their drain for a fistula? I have a drain in for quite sometime and i am finding it to be painful. Is there anything else out there that can make this more comfortable or any tips in dealing with a drain in general? Frustrated!!

I've had a drain for 5 weeks now and the best advise I can give is to use stool softeners and get a bidet. I haven't had a ton of physical pain with mine, but emotionally it's been really difficult to deal with. How long do you have to have your drain in?

Have you tried the Comfort Drain? It has no knot. I found it really much more comfortable.

If you need to drain it spray it with hot water in the shower and then give it a good squeeze till it drains.
