Really wierd, but funny question

Does anyone else have a name for their Chron's or UC?  One of the girls I work with has named mine Crunchy.  Because "It says painful, even in milk."  Kind of a knock off of cereal staying crunchy even in milk.  The name has kind of stuck with me, so I now refer to my Chron's as Crunchy.

Good to know I'm not the only silly one out there. :)  My husband said the other day that he was going to make a purple stuffed "monster" for me and name it crunchie so I can beat it up when I hurt. LOL

I call my disease "the crohn". And at work this past week before my colonoscopy my boss came up with a song for me called "a whole new bowel" like the Disney song from Aladdin, it was hilarious!

When I had my first surgery at age 17, I needed an ileostomy to save my life. So I decided to name the appliance Phil the bag. get it?  fill the bag.

Years later, I met my husband and his name happened to be Phil. So whenever I talk to my friends about Phil they always ask me which Phil are you talking about.   lol

I had surgery a few weeks ago to get Stewart the Stricture removed.  That is what my kids called it.  I think it made the idea of mommy having surgery less scary for them.
