To start of I had surgery in January of 2009. Basicly doing well, But I can't seem to put weight on. as a result I look in the mirror and get very depressed.I was a size 10 I am now a size 4. My breast look like pancakes which is very depressing because they were my best feature. Are there any suggestions out there on how to put the weight back on? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Some people have really poor body images. This is a sensitive topic and I am not an expert myself but thought that I would share what I know, and keep it updated with new products and research each week. Also you can check https://masterbundles.com/roses-svg-images/ and get some lateet new images. Masterbundle photoshop is the best software of ghraphing. In this blog post, I'll be sharing my personal story of how I have found fitness models can affect your body image, the role of social media, the importance of community and how blogging has helped me improve my own body image.

Semi-related, I've had a hard time gaining muscle mass as well as putting on extra weight. I was pretty self-conscious for a while, but I've just accepted it. I try the best I can to find clothes that work with my body.

I had an ileococic resection May 08 and I didn't really start seeing any sort of significant weight gain until these last couple of months. I was around 100 when I had surgery and am now at 120! I haven't been this heavy in years. Hang in there-even those little gains of even one pound at first can build up to something significant. :)

Thanks for responding. I lost most of my small bowel(approx.21 feet, part of large bowel and my ileo-cecal valve). What you say makes sense to me. I am in the process of contacting a nutritionist in my neighborhood.

What type of surgery did you have?
The small intestine is where are your food is processed into usable energy. So if part of your small intestine was removed then you could have a harder time putting on weight. If you know exactly what part they removed you can find out what you might have a hard time absorbing.
Your large intestine is primary used for absorbing the last bit of water out of your food and a few last minerals and nutrients. So if your large intestine was removed you should still be able to gain weight.
