Doctors will not give me any meds for pain. In Minnesota. Even for flair ups, it it tylanol 3. Does nothin. It sucks but still searching.

Hey, i'm sorry about your frustration with your docs, they can be uptight with pain meds and rightly so. Narcatics are dangerous, but they can also make it much easier to get better.
I can't really empathize hear, I have a whole pain team, and i have pain meds (percacet and tramadol) but to be honest, they work but even those don't do it for me completly. I do relaxation stuff, i've destressed my life but still extreme pain.
From here I don't know what to say, because it might be something just to learn to deal with (sad but nessasary) or it could be that as you get better so will your pain (pretty much how it works) be completly honest with your doctors about how much your pain is affecting your life, they might see it how you do then

The best thing you can do for pain is watch what you eat. That's probably a pretty superfluous statement.

Have you tried any relaxation or meditation techniques for the pain. Don't get me wrong...there is no substitute for good old fashioned Vicodin, but you may want to give it a try to help manage the pain a little. After living with Crohn's for 11 years and having 2 babies...I can tell you that it does help.
