Hi everyone, I just wanted to know if anyone else tries to figure out what in the world they ate or did to wake up and have a lousy day? I try to figure it out by thinking about what I had to eat and if it was something new. If it's not the case of eating something different I try and talk myself into thinking I must be stressed but am I? I know everyone is different but I'm sick of this disease (chrons and ulcerative colitis). Today was a beautiful day and my oldest daughter's birthday-YEAH! But I just feel nauseous and lousy! I am trying real hard to be positive but sometimes that's really hard. I hid it well for the most part but both my girls just know. Thanks for reading!

My doctor has suggested writing a health diary--how I felt in the morning, how I would rate my stress for the day, highs and lows. He said that at first, it is hard to see the correlation between everything (stress, emotions, food, etc), but after a few weeks of documentation (we're talking five minutes a day, tops) it is easy to see how things correlate with each other and what helps.
Maybe this would help you?
