So things are better--no blood- just the typical mad dash 8-9 times daily. Luckily, I work as a (classical) musician, and teach a lot from home. At the college level, my studio is right near a bathroom-- all good. My problems are most critical in the AM, so I get up really early and take time to make mad dashes etc.
However, this has been a busy season for performances. There is no way to leave the stage during the 1.5 to 2 hours before a break... Has anyone tried Immodium or other stuff. When I get stressed or nervous (and the stress and nerves right now happen to be about NOT getting to the bathroom in time) I start to panic that I won't make it.
I make sure I eat way ahead, and very lightly--also still having problems with dehydration, so taking small bottles of water to keep discreetly with me... Yesterday, I had two performances, one early in the morning that was a nightmare; by the time I got to my second gig my gut was incredibly jittery... I just don' t know what to do. I will absolutely die if I lost it on stage. Any words of wisdom??? Most people don't know I have UC, I don't want to start losing work.

Haven't tried the cookies, but will do so (Have been drinking coconut water and that helps some, but not enough). Maybe a couple of cookies before a gig--Love macaroons! Thank you

I have a couple suggestions you might want to try.
First, I'm not sure if you've tried this yet or not, but try eating 2 macaroon cookies a day. Somebody had shared the idea with me years ago and much to my surprise, it definitely slows down the bathroom urgency. Next, I would try an herbal tea. This is for your nerves/anxiety. I think once you get control of that, you will see the rest will fall into place.
Hope this helps......
