I would suggest you get checked for any vitiam and mineral deficiency. With messed up systems we do not always absorb everything we should be. not to mention all the foods we can't eat.

I was diagnosed in December 2008 with UC and I workout everyday. I do have pain in both my knees. It only hurts me when I have to bend them like going up and down stairs. I do some knee excersises I learned a few years back and it helps.

I understand how you feel. I can hardly work out because when I do I am in so much pain for days after. The doctors cant help me. If you find something that helps you please let me know. I am in pain so often that it makes me so upset. Most people just dont understand. I actually have ulcerative colitis and the muscle and joint pain is awful. Sorry I can not be of any help to you but I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Good luck:)

It does help a little. But just a little. I was pretty athletic growing up and still love to play sports whenever I can. Unfortunately that's not very often anymore. Very frustrating. I am really out of shape now and am in the process of finding a work out that works for me. I've found that low impact is a must. If I jog slowly without lifting my feet very far off the ground it limits the pain. I think swimming would be perfect but it's not really an option for me. I am thinking of trying yoga. I think they have programs designed for people with arthritis. Good luck to you.
