Hi everyone! I was recently diagnosed with proctitis/ulcerative colitis in September 2011. This past November 2011, I left my job to go on disability. I love my job, but it became too challenging, mentally and physically, to handle it and colitis flare-ups at the same time.
I’m still flaring up (worst than before I went on disability) and I know my body will not allow me to go back to that environment doing what I did on a full-time basis.
I’m still making trips to the bathroom around 8 times a day, 15 minutes each time, long and loud farts, with cramps and strain, mucous, and bloody clots and blood.
I need to find another job that can work with me and my colitis so I can pay the bills. I know about FMLA, job tips, and job websites from ccfa. But do you have any suggestions on types of jobs/a job (except sales) that can work with me?
Or should I extend my disability until my flare-ups go away?
Thank you!

So I need a job that has flexibility and can pay my bills.
Otherwise, I was considering extending my disability since I'm not well yet.
