I was diagnosed with Crohn's 2 years ago. I was on steroids for 6 months last year and gained 50 pounds. It was horrible. I'm on Cimzia and Pamine. I'm on antidepressants as well. I'm still have problems like diarrhea, fatigue, a little cramping, and just feeling awful. It's been a rough 2 years. My family and friends somewhat understand, they are considerate when we're going somewhere and I have to use the bathroom and stuff like that but they don't really understand. I'm really wanting a buddy for email support. I'm 23 and I feel like I've aged many many years.
Just looking for support.

I'd be happy to be a good friend. You can reach me at mary11732010@hotmail.com to talk about the issues you are going through. I understand the pain, frustrations and craziness of this disease also. I hope the doctor finds a med that you tolerate and that works for you. Send me some mail if you want. Megan40

I completely understand where you are coming from. Its such a hard thing to go through, especially being so young and all. I am 29 years old and found out I had crohns disease when I was 16. Right now I am pregnant and having a really hard time with the flare ups. I would love to be your friend and would love to chat back and forth through email. My email address is mistysatterfield@gmail.com. You can email me anytime. Look forward to hearing from you.

Kate,
I'm 21 and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis just 3 months ago. I've been on medication which helped for a while, but it hasn't been recently so I have diarrhea and cramps and often chills. My family and friends go back and forth between overbearing and insensitive, and I'm embarrassed and awkward to talk to people who don't understand. If you want an email buddy, I'd be up for it.
