Is anyone able to be a pen pal with me and vent about living with UC? It can be Crohn's too. No one around me understands the pain and the issues it has caused my professional development and other aspects of my life. It would be nice to talk to someone who understands on the a regular basis.
My email is spkeck@aol.com
THANK YOU
I dont check here often so please email me

Hey there,
My name is Angela - living in CA, age 26. I've had (diagnosed) Crohn's for about 3 years, but suffered undiagnosed for about 10 or so. Looking for someone to talk to. I'm currently off meds and have been for a year and a half (against my doctor's advice). I had major resection surgery in 2011 and was on Remicade and Humira for a while and didn't feel human. I chose to take the natural route and completely changed my diet (eat mostly Paleo) and do yoga, and try to keep mental/physical/spiritually "fit."
Feeling disheartened as I just got out of the ER Monday night after being told I have pretty aggressive inflammation, and I can barely sit up. I most likely need to go back on medication.. I stopped identifying as a "patient" and started to feel invincible with very little symptoms the last year and a half off meds, but feeling quite humbled today.
If this resonates with anyone, please feel free to email me. Its been a struggle accepting this as a permanent diagnosis, and wondering if anyone else can relate to this? My email address is burrar88@gmail.com, please feel free to reach out, i could really use someone to exchange stories with.

I would love to have a friend here as well! It has been difficult being diagnosed with UC (2010). No one will understand the daily issues we deal with except for people who have it. If anyone is interested in being a friend, just let me know! :)

Hi to both of you!
I'm more than willing to talk I'm 22 and I've had Crohn's my entire life. I know how difficult it can be to feel alone with it. Even when people think they understand and want to it's too hard for them. Please feel free to email me at caitwith9lives@hotmail.com!

Hi my name is Hannah. I'm 16 years old and I have chrons disease. I have plenty of friends but I feel like I'm constantly alone because none of them understand what I go through on a daily basis. There are many days where I physically can't make it to school and I get accused of being "lazy" or "unmotivated" by teachers and friends. I work very hard to stay caught up despite my lack of attendance but sometimes the stress of everything just gets to me. When I try to open up to my friends about my disease they laugh it off. I would love to talk to someone who understands what I go through.
