Anxiety

Thu, March 24, 2016 6:57 PM

I was diagnosed with anxiety long before I was diagnosed with crohn's, I was in therapy for years and thought I had it all under control. Surprisingly throughout my hospital stay it was pretty well controlled but now I feel like I'm "slipping". My anxiety has come back almost full force and I don't know how to doeal with that and Crohn's at the same time because I've never had too. Any suggestions on how to manage both?!

Hey, Sorry you're feeling down, but get some comfort in my understanding your pain. My anxiety has been out of control during the diagnosis process and now I'm desperate for anything to get me a little piece.

Hi Kat,

I'm sorry to hear you're going through this.  Sometimes music helps me to calm down.  I listen to a lot of John Mayer because the rhythm of the music keeps me calm.  I was diagnosed with crohn's two years ago so I'm still trying to learn how to deal with it.
