Losing the Battle

Mon, July 02, 2018 12:43 AM

I have been living with Crohn’s disease for over 22 years. I have been through hell and back from surgeries and blood transfusions to chronic kidney stones and joint pain. Since I have had part of my small bowel removed I produce kidney stones very frequently. I have had10 lithotripses and have lost count of the number of stones I have passed. I have tried every medicine released for Crohn’s and have tried many research studies. I am currently having a flare and trying to get in the only study that I am eligible. I had a few good years on Humira and Stelara but both stopped being effective for me. Has anyone found an effective way to deal with all the crohnic pain? I’m just at the end of my rope here and don’t see an option.

Maybe find a doctor that will prescribe it for you? Or you could try pure CBD oil. It's a hemp oil, legal everywhere, no THC. You can buy it online, but some states have stores that sell it, like MN.

I am a disabled veteran. If I try medical marijuana I would lose my VA benefits. I am drug tested regularly.
