Specifically, what works without aggravating your colitis?

I have had colitis for more than 15 years and have been medicine free for the past 10. The best thing for anxiety is to find out if you are deficient in vitamins, minerals, amino acids. You can get a Spectracell test to find out. Also, repair gut health with probiotics, l-glutamine, aloe vera. Next, counseling would be good to talk about childhood and feelings. There is almost always a link between anxiety, stress, childhood trauma, and colitis. Fins a naturopathic doctor near you to help you create a foundation of health through your lifestyle. They will help you get and stay in remission. Hope this helps!

Yes, I have taken CBD oil for more than 10 years. It decreases inflammation and anxiety. I like Endoca and Pure Kana brands.

Personally, I am taking 60mg (started with 20mg and had to move up twice) of citalopram daily. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression before my diagnoses. I’ve been on Zoloft and it was alright but what I’m on now is working much better. Hope that helps.
