It works--if it works for You.
I started CBD oil and vapes (they make CBD-only vapes, which are handy) a little over a year ago. Did it heal my UC? Absolutely not. But did it hurt me? No.
The biggest CBD help, for me, is when the cramps are horrible. It does help with pain--not taking it away, but easing it.
The most important thing about CBD is to get it from a good source. There are a lot of yahoos and farmer's market whatevers selling, well, whatever. CBD has become a pop trend, which means there's going to be a lot of garbage on the market.
You can buy from a lot of sources online, but wherever you get it, you want to make sure you demand the fine print. Ask for not only lab testing results, which should be non-negotiable, but also ask for the name of the lab that did the testing. If the seller can't provide a lot of data or shuffles around these questions, do not give them your money or use their product.
Note: CBD is not supposed to be able to make you high, but sometimes it does give me a slight high, if I've had a lot of it on an empty stomach. Be careful if you're a new user and need to drive a car or do anything important. This is part of where you want to read all about CBD oil versus whole Hemp extract, etc. There are a lot of different versions of "CBD" out there. Read all the lab data, start low, and go slow.
