Hi all, hoping I can get some support with anxiety. I see a bunch of therapists, take medication for anxiety, I have a good group of friends, and a supportive family but I'm still having a hard time. I feel like I read a lot of posts about anxiety increaseing Crohn's symptoms, but I feel like it's the opposite for me--I notice an increase in anxiety when my Crohn's flares. I'm starting Stelara in a few days and I'm really hopeful that that helps, because I'm having trouble getting through each day at this point. I'm so tired all the time, my abdomen hurts, and I'm always nauseous. I just want to feel happy and I haven't felt happy in a long time.

Hello,
I have been living with ulcerative colitis for several years now and in the past have felt the same way. When I get flares, I have increased anxiety. For me, I think a lot of that stems from how draining the disease can be and the sheer fear of ending up in excruciating pain and in hospital again.
I hope the Stelara will give you some relief. I am on Humira, which has been working for me and in the process has helped decreased my anxiety. I hope that you will get this relief as well, although it does take time. Unfortunately, you may have to go through some trial and error to get there. But hopefully the Stelara will help.
Don’t lose hope and know you are not alone. After having gone through this, I can say there is light at the end of the tunnel and better days will come, if though it may not seem like it now.

I'm so sorry you are going through this pain. You are loved.
Your spirit guides are there to protect you. When you are sad or you are in pain, call on your spirit guides or your ancestors for help, advice, or love.
I do not have Crohn's, but I do battle with anxiety and depression. And I can tell you that I understand it deeply. Sometimes it feels like it is impossible to get out. But do not fear. Your mind controls everything. We are powerful.
Meditation is key to combatting anxiety and depression. Exercise and eat clean, healthy, anti-inflammatory foods to help your organs heal themselves.
What I can say is that diet and herbs are key to curing disease! Anti-inflammatory diet (whole foods plant based) and herbs cure most diseases. Research for yourself :) <3
Get help if you need it, you're not weak for seeking help. WE all need emotional support and someone to vent to. You are LOVED.
