i wouldn't mind answering the questions for you, but i could send you some photos maybe?
i'm currently starting a project with a friend of mine who has chronic pancreatitis trying to get people in connecticut who have chronic illnesses who aren't children or elderly to write letters telling their stories so we can submit them to the governor to lobby for better health care and benefits for people who are always sick, who might not have insurance @ their job, and aren't elgible for medicare/ medicaid or their parent's insurance.

i was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2001. I've been without health care and treatments for 3 years now. I am experiencing a flare and cannot receive the treatments i need. The Crohn's has caused severe anemia. My body only absorbs 3% of the iron I take orally and the iron i.v.'s cost $1000 a piece! At one a month to bring my iron up to heathly standards (so I can have a baby, without the iron, my body will not support a growing child) it is impossable to do this without insurance. (I had to choose between paying rent late, or buying groceries this month.)
I have been denied health insurance because of my preigsisting condition. When I wrote my governor, she told me about the state issued insurance and the website with all the info. I downloaded the application, and only the first two words of each question appeared. "Do you" That's it. So I called the 800-number and requested a copy of the application sent to me. That was over 3 weeks ago and still no application. How hard should it be? I mean seriously. The normal person's debt to income ratio is laughable. I have no extra for savings, let alone medical insurance, and that's if someone would accept me in their plan!!!!!!! "There is help out there" people say. So yeah, I get an email back from my govornor, I was impressed and thought, wow, maybe I have a shot at this. It has gotten me nowhere!!!! My abdominal pain flares up anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours each day, causing nausia, dizziness, shortness of breath and bringing me to my knees. Is there REAL help out there?

I wouldn't mind helping. I have had stomach ulcers as a child through to my twenties, in my thirties I had a very bad case of Pancreatitis, in my early forties, I upgraded to C-Diff; then moved on to Diverticulosis, and now in my late forties have Crohn's Disease for which I have had a foot and a half of my small intestines removed from the ilieum on. I truly understand. Hope this helps. JB
