I have had Crohn’s since I was 12 (now 38). I have had 3 major bowel resections with the last one being in 1996. Back in 2006 I was faced with medication for the rest of my life or surgery. In 2006 I had a colonoscopy and they found a fistula in my large intestine. I was getting bloating and diarrhea as symptoms as well as weight loss and fatigue. My intestines actually looked perfect with the exception of the fistula. I was still taking the probiotics but there was something else I was missing. I searched the internet and found a doctor who had a free 30+ page document on defeating the disease. I read it a few times and had a conference call with this doctor. I followed the program to the tee. It was all about not eating certain types of foods, eliminating dairy products, taking some supplements which consisted of digestive enzymes and probiotics and most important was eliminating the foods I was allergic to. Out of 88 foods I was tested for, I was allergic to 71 of them. Among them was pineapple and blueberries. Pineapple has bromelain in it which is a powerful digestive enzyme. After 52 days of following the program strictly, I went from bloating diarrhea to a normal bowel movement. The sensation of the fistula was gone and I was healthy again. I stayed on the rotated diet introducing more foods along the way for about 10 months. It is the end of 2008 and I am as healthy as can be. Drugs do nothing but present more problems for me. I think the human body was not meant to eat junk food and milk products ll day long. The human body was meant to eat a whole food plant based diet which is healthy for the human body. Chiropractic care is essential to true wellness as well. Health is about wellness and not about relieving symptoms. Please contact me if you want to discuss further. Thank you! You too! Great accomplishment. I'm in the process of going vegan myself. There is no such thing as disease just poor food choices.
