hi this trina32 went in hospital thursday came home monday one you think things are going good something always set me back up my pred got down to 5mg happy boom got sick called gi did ct scan sent me stright to hospital after test up pred had to have it in iv had to have insulin soots 3 times aday sugar stayed up but one night it got down to 55 they panick after about a hour or to it was back good i hate pred they pump me with so much fluieds the stuff started leaking back out had to take me off that but kepth the pred still full of fluied hope my doc give me something happy to be home but im back up on the pred 80mg so im starting over the sugar was under control at 5mg but now its out of control back on sugar meds o yeah they had to give me my job back told my doct they caned me he ask for the number dont no what he said but they called me at home its crazy i got out the hospital monday went to work thursday didnt have a cold now i do but i love working at the nurseing home its hard to leave but its keeping me sick being there but hey the bills got to be paid hope all is well i feel good just scared about this cold they said i had a little fluied in my lungs yeah i can tell if this mucus x dont work tonight im not waiting till wednesday to see the doc im going to er i dont play when it comes to my breating the stuff the gave me for my sinus and broncatis didnt work 3 shoots antibotic cough med mucus med no help my body is haveing a hard time fighting this i think its due to the pred my system is shoot but i pray all is well with my lungs

Hey Honey! I am so glad that you got your job back. They cannot fire you for being sick! you need to know that. That prob. would have been a fat lawsuit. Anyway, it sucks that your on 80mg of pred. you have to go through it all over again. When I was sick with a sinus infection and a bronchitus infection the prednisone actually helps that. The prednisone is also given to people with bronchitus infections. The cold will go away eventually. Are you still with your boyfriend?? Well I hope you get better soon! You have to try to rest. I just got off my prednisone on Sunday, im a lil sick but not too bad. Hopefully I wont have to go back on it. I will talk to you soon hun .. keep in touch! feel better
