Waist trainers post op

Wed, June 15, 2016 10:40 AM

Hi! I had resections February 2015 and November 2015. Everything seems to be healing well and my crohn's is in remission with entyvio. The only problem is what I fondly (or not fondly) call my alien baby. The right side of my abdomen sticks out several inches no matter what I do and it has gotten worse over the past several weeks. The doctor insists it's not a hernia and I just need to strengthen my abdominal muscles but months of doing planks have not helped. I have diastis recti of +3 cm... It doesn't hurt but it's definitely not doing anything for my self esteem. Has anyone tried a waist trainer or belly binder? Are they safe to use? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
