Hematoma after bowel surgery

Wed, October 24, 2018 5:52 AM

Hi. I recently had a bowel resection surgery (laparoscopy), and after I got home, a few hematomas developed (2 larger ones and 2 smaller ones). My doctor is away, so I went to the GP who said to monitor it and wait until my usual doctor returns. They seem to be getting bigger. Is this dangerous? Can I do anything to treat this? What can I expect?
Thanks very much.
Lisa.
