REVERAL

Tue, July 07, 2009 12:00 AM

Hi

I have crohn's and 6 months ago had to have a colomsy because of fistulas that would not heal had a major infection. One week after the operation the infection went away. I hoping that next month they are going to reconnect my colon. Anyone have any thoughs about being reconnected and learning how to go to the bathroom again.

My 21 yr old son had an ileostomy reversal in May and went back to "regular" bathroom time in less than 1 week. He had a partial colectemy in Dec. 08. He doesn't even notice a difference now. Good luck to you..it's worth it!
