Dear CCFA Parent/Caregiver community,
My 10 year old son has serious inflammation of the colon. His biopsy results show "not conclusive of Crohn's" however the GI specialist wants to treat him with Humira. I am currently against treating with such a serious medication. I would like to try the Specific Carbohydrate Diet with him.
Is anyone out there interested in trying this? Anyone available to start a support group? I know it will be hard to manage this kind of lifestyle with a 10 year old.
My best,
Jolie

Thank you Alan!
And at 10 were you able to get her on the SDC diet? My son intellectually gets it, but of course he loves his pizza and candy! I have just subscribed to your blog and I look forward to reading the past posts for details of your and your daughter's journey.
Thanks so much.
My son has Crohn's and is currently in jail. T....
