After 14 yrs, it's back

​Well i just found out yesterday that the crohn's has shown it's face again. a prometheus test was done. is it reliable? from what I understand is that it was due to come back. now medication is in the future. smoking i heard was a big factor? need to get some feedback as this is my first day on here.

Hi! Sort of a late reply, but better late than never! Have they done tested for inflammatory makers (CRP, SED rate). Done a colonoscopy w/biopsy? Medications (steriods, 5ASA's)? And yes smoking is one of THE WORST things you can do for IBD. If you have Crohn's, aboslutely no smoking allowed I'm afraid. I have never had the promethus test but would like to in the future just to see what my future holds. smiley
