Hi there!
Diet and lifestyle changes played a big role for me in controlling my CD symptoms. When I was diagnosed, I had the good fortune of being trained as a natural foods chef, so it was easy for me to turn back to my education in holistic nutrition to figure out what foods I could eat to feel good and which I should avoid to reduce my inflammation. Of course, everyone's trigger foods are different, but I believe an overall basic understanding of the healing power of food is so important to feeling your best. With this in mind, I put together a two part cooking workshop on Saturday, Aug 3 and Aug 10 to share my knowledge and experience, and discuss foods to fight inflammation.
In this workshop, you'll learn how to make your own fermented foods and beverages that offer beneficial probiotics, and discover which herbs and spices have the most anti-inflammation fighting properties.
If you're not near Santa Monica or unable to attend the class for any other reason, contact me and perhaps we can create a distance learning alternative for you!
