Crohn's and Fistulas

Sun, October 18, 2015 5:59 AM

Hi there i could with some help and advice i was diagnosed with Crohn's 2007, at first the doctors thought i was stomach ulcers they did every test you can think off to confirm it wasnt stomach ulcers. Then has to go through every test going again to confirm it was Crohn's, I had surgery in November 2007 after being put on steroids, I had 11 1/2 inch of my small/large bowel removed, I have flare's up still trying to get my diet right but i dont think anyone can get it right in my opinion, I also have found out that i now have fistulas i have surgery on them as they was leaking and infected, I have been informed by consultant that it could be a possible reoccurring issue, I also suffer from blood loss and mucous and it not when i am going to the loo which is kind of embarrassing. Recent test have shown that my Crohn's has spread to the lower part of my anal canal as well as having fistulas it can be rather painful and embarrassing, any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.
