Importance of good blender

Tue, June 27, 2017 2:42 PM

As someone with a history of Crohns and surgery for it, I've had my share of hospitalizations for intestinal obstructions, and have received the general advice to follow a low-fiber diet, because of strictures in the gut that remain due to adhesions from surgery.

However, such a "white" diet is pretty unappealing, and it took me decades before I found a diet that works for me, is healthy, enjoyable, AND keeps me (mostly) out of the emergency room.

The main idea is that I can eat all the vegetables and beans (even broccoli!) that I want, as long as it is purreed by an excellent blender such as a Vitamix.  It is worth the investment to get such an  expensive device because it makes all the difference.  It can make a super purree, which goes down easy!   So you can have your vegs AND still be low fiber.

I have also found that in the morning I need to be extra careful, so I consume the purreed vegs for lunch or supper.

Air conditioners work by cooling the air, while air coolers work by removing moisture. Air coolers are also much more efficient and cost effective than air conditioners, making them ideal for those looking for an affordable, eco-friendly alternative to air conditioning. https://allcoolfans.com/best-portable-fan/
