Hi everybody.I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis at 37 y/o.I tried every medication. You name it i tried it.LONG LONG story short.None of them did anything but lessen the symptoms.Obviously everybody's disease is different. So what I'm going to say here is what worked for me.I hope it works for somebody else. This is what I did.I started drinking apple cider vinegar. It noticeably lessened my flare symptoms to the point it made me realize that I could actually do something to help myself. So that made me experiment some more.I saw a guy on you tube explain how he drinks bentonite clay with p husk fiber daily and he cured his chrones disease. It made a lot of sense to me.So I looked for the stuff for two weeks.Couldnt find it until I found a Whole Foods store in the area.I found Great Plains bentonite detox. It comes in a bottle mixed in water. Its like 16 dollars. Was the best decision I have ever made in my entire life.I went home and mixed up a table spoon of clay and a table spoon of pysilliam husk in a cup of water. The next day I woke up and couldn't believe it.It worked.2-3 days later I'm going to the bathroom 1-2 times a day.The first time I have ever achieved remission and I wasn't on any meds at the time cause my insurence was fussing about the 80 mg of humeria a week I was on.The clay worked and now finally I got my humeria and it's in the fridge lol.People this clay saved my life.Google bentonite clay.It does a number of things in our gut.It alkalizes the colon, absorbes microbes, metals, absorbs proteins.Mixed with the soluable fiber powder it bulks the stool. If you have never tried Great Plains bentonite clay and you have chrones or,colitis you are possible missing out on a very easy solution to a terrible life of suffering. My disease was so terrible and to have something work for me so dramatically is a miracle to me.I canceled my gi appointments. Please try this and let me know if it works for you too.

I used bentonite clay for IBD years ago and it put me into remission for 6 or so years. I've just started taking it again, this time putting it into capsules because the powder form (mixed into water) is so hard to swallow - it makes me nauseous this time around.

Hi, curious at how many days your did this before you were cured? Today was my first day at taking it and I can’t seem to get the taste out of my mouth.

Did this work for you active lady? I was also encouraged by this, but the original poster seems like he could just be pushing the clay product. I could be wrong but wanted to hear your results.

I'm currently weaning off of prednisone after a horrific flare that put me in the hospital with severe pan colitis. Down to just 5 mg. now and taking some special supplements recommended by a GI at Hopkins who also has a M.S. in Nutrition. Feeling very good, energy and strength back, but my stool has been loosening up and the number of BM's I have each day has recently doubled to 4 or 5 now as I have cut back on this med. So, I'm going to try this, too!
That was 1 T bentonite clay and 1 T. psyllium husk fiber in 1 cup of water once a day, right? Will order from Amazon and let you know how it works for me! We're all so different that one never knows what will or will not work until we try it. I really think it mostly has to do with the health and diversity of our gut microbiome, but this clay probably supports that. Thanks for the suggestion!
