Caffeine and Crohn

My wife avoids coffee and beverages with caffeine because her Crohn. Her work, however requires sustained mental focus. What can she use - instead of caffeine products - to maintain her mental sharpness?

Though it has small amounts of caffeine, I would recommend tea. White tea, in particular, has the lowest amounts of caffeine. Decaf tea also has trace amounts of caffeine. And herbal tea/tisanes have no caffeine, though hot water can still be mentally stimulating.

I also recommend roll-on aromatherapy oils. Nature's Truth brand can be found at Bed, Bath & Beyond and has flavors called Focus and Energy. They smell great and I wear them like perfume at work when I want a non-caffeinated pick-me-up.

Hope that helps!
