Anyone Try Reliv?

Wed, February 09, 2011 1:00 AM

I have been on a nutritional supplement called Reliv for about 31/2 months now and I've had huge success. I have suffered with Ulcerative Colitis for about 7 years.I was at such a bad point with it that I was just miserable all the time.I have 2 young children and I felt like I was never able to do what I wanted with them and I was terrified of them growing up and only remembering Mom as "being sick". I had tried other supplements in the past like the "juices" that are out there and mixtures of vitamins but had no real success with them. Then a friend of mine told me about Reliv. I decide to give it a try because I saw what it did for him and I decided one month wouldn't hurt. I went into it extremely skeptical and didn't notice much difference the first week. But I continued taking it. I AM SO GLAD I DID!By the end of that first month I was out of my flare up and my pain was gone. In the past 3 months I have felt minor discomfort 3 times. 3 Times, That's it. I went from taking 2 pain relievers every day to taking 3 in the last 3 months. I have normal bowel movements for the first time in YEARS.I can go out and do things with the kids and not have to worry about keeping a bathroom close by. I actually know what it feels like to NOT feel my stomach. It sounds funny but I couldn't remember ever not feeling my stomach and about 2 months after taking the products it hit me that I had no feeling around my tummy. Not that I was numb, but it was just normal! I know this is not going to "cure" me or take away my colitis but it has made a huge difference in my life. If you go to www.Reliv.com you won't see anything earth shattering in the ingredients but it's just the right mixture that our bodies need. Everyone is different of course, but it's worth a try isn't it? What if? If you want to know the exact products I take you can email me at sennrust@msn.com Also, you can't order directly from their website, but I can send you an invite if you're interested.

What do you take from Reliv? The traditional shakes?  What do you mix it with?

I would love to talk to you about my experiences.  Email me at sennrust@msn.com and I can tell more about my story. I also have a good friend that has Crohn's that can talk to you.  I'm not saying this will help everyone but it sure has helped me and those I've talked to :-)

A friend of mine just recommended I talk to someone he knows about Reliv. Apparently she just got back from some conference where they discussed Crohns (which I have). Not sure about it yet though...
