I have tried the Hazelnut Pancakes SCD legal and the chicken wings. I am not impressed. I could not even eat the pancakes. I have been lactose intolerant for years so I always had to alter what I ate, soy pancakes, soy cheese, lasagna etc. and I managed to end up liking it and it was edible. This I could not even eat. I am traveling for 8 days and I am totally freaked out about what to eat. I end up eating watermellon and bananas and thats it otherwise if I try to eat normal people food but in moderation like try to do SCD as close as possible I still end up in pain. All my pain is in my chest and rib area. Then I get panicky if I am having an obstruction or if something more serious. (Newly diagnosed) So then I end up starving. I am not allowed to eat raw veggies OR fruit yet (not sure when I will be allowed) because how do you tell if you can or not. I thought if I learned to make a few SCD menus and then the basics lean hamburger, chicken, pork I would make it through the week. (allergic to seafood) so now I am not sure what to do.Oh I did buy the Almond flour. Mine said Almond meal/flour. Is that the same thing? It did not taste very good. Anyway someone please help me. Thank You

Thanks for the info. I do have 2 gallstones and the Dr.'s said when
I have pain they can take it out. They stated that some people have
stones and they don't need to get them out. My GI Doc. feels that it is the
Crohn's and not the gallbladder. I am not sure at all because I started to
have both problems at the same time, so I have know idea. My pain is in
the center of my chest and a full feeling all the time. My MD doc feels
it might be the gallbladder. I am stuck in the middle!!

Hi - I have Crohn's also. One thing to possibly check out if not already is gallbladder. The Crohn's disease can affect gallbladder and many of us have gallbladders go as result of the disease. I had mine go and the pain was upper right rib area. And it didn't matter what I ate because i had partial sludge blockage. There were no stones but rather 'sludge' in my gallbladder. This was diagnozed w/ test I think called Hipa test. Anyhow - it is not uncommon for folks who have crohn's to have gallbladder give out and the pain is upper area on right side under ribs.
