Where to start?

Hello.  I've found foods that agree with me and I'm sticking to them.  I'm sticking to them almost to a point they're practically making me sick.  I'm so tired of the same food which consists primarily of low fat foods and carbs.  I make a lot of my own breads from a great ibs cookbook but I do not eat a lot of fruits (bananas and mango) and no vegetables.  I know it's soooo bad but I'm so afraid.  I have crohn's disease and the most effected area is my colon.  I want to eat salads and veggies but I'm so afraid.  Please don't judge me, I know it's not smart to not to eat them but I'd rather not have diarhea and nausea  all the time.  Anyone else out there who has been in my positition and just tried?  I'm there are. If  you can give me some advice that will be great!

I've tried some of the scd diet and it doesn't agree with me.  I know I didn't give it a huge chance but once something triggers a flare up for whatever reason I get completely gun shy.  I have the book:   Breaking the Vicious Cycle but got turned off a little bit.  The cookbook I have is called Eating for IBS for people with all sorts of intestinal inflammation.  I am really in a funk right now and cannot wait for it to end.  With my mom being sick I don't know when things are going to settle down.

Thanks again,
