I have the opportunity to go with my husband to Florida while he is on a business trip. It would be a long plane ride with 1 stop. I want to go but am worried I will get sick. I just got out of the hospital with the flu. What do you think?

From someone that lives in Florida...come. The beaches are so relaxing, the food is great, the sun for the most part is always shining.

I agree with Joe. My daughter, who is 10, had a flare in November, was hospitalized, and missed over a month of school. She was on steroids and really had a rough go. With her missing about 25 days, we were very apprehensive about taking her out of school for our 10 day planned vacation to Siesta Key, Florida. She is very bright and still had straight A's, so we decided to go.
She was still having problems with her UC when we left...........but the sunshine, swimming, laying on the beach, relaxing was just what she needed. She came back so healthy and ready to start school again!
Go, enjoy the sun (although I am not sure where you are from), find a beach or even the hotel pool, a good book and enjoy yourself.

You don't give very much information and I don't know your situation, but going on vacation to Florida would be such an UPPER, I say go for it. It is important that we be good to ourselves. Have a good time!
