Hi all - I have not yet received a diagnosis, but all of my markers and indicators point to Crohn's. I had a colonoscopy in November 2022 that showed ulcers in my terminal ileum where the pathologist said possibly early Crohn's as well, but there is no chronic damage, so I can't get a diagnosis yet. These symptoms began about 3 years ago, but they have gotten worse within the last year. I have an abdominal MRI scheduled for 6/2, but even after that there is potential need for another scope to view more of my small intestine depending on what they find. With all of this, the soonest I can have a follow up with the GI doctor I was finally able to meet on 5/1 is in November.
All of this to say, my symptoms are getting worse - even in the last month. I have not had weight loss or anything major like that, but my diarrhea is getting more frequent (instead of every couple of days, every day). I met with a dietician who helped me alter my fibers, but I missed the mark on somethings. I am trying to re-focus my efforts, but I am struggling figuring out what to eat and feeling satisfied by my food. I am emotionally drained and completely over it. Do people have any recipe tips for soluble fiber that will do more than simply fill my stomach, but maybe taste good?

The inability to see a doctor and get an offical diagnosis sounds so frustrating. I have Crohn's and was on a very restrictive diet from my naturopathic doctor with help of a dietician to formulate receipes and meals ideas that worked for my restrictions, so I definitely encourage that route if it's open to you. During this time I also had a fissure I was trying to heal and my rectal surgeon recommended citrucel (or similar like metamucil) to help with my diarreah and it worked wonders and I did end up healing my fissure.
