Does Soma cause Crohn's disease?

Thu, July 11, 2024 4:58 AM

There is no direct evidence linking Soma (Carisoprodol) to causing Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that affects the lining of the digestive tracts. It can cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, weight loss, anemia and fatigue. It is a condition with complex cases involving genetic, environmental, and immune system factors. If you have concerns about medications and their potential effects on Crohn's disease or any other condition, it is required to discuss them with a healthcare provider for personalized advice and guidance.
