I have heard that marijuana may relieve some of the symptoms of Crohn's
Has anybody here had any experience with this?
Thank you.

This is the first time when I am listening that medical marijuana could be useful to treat Crohn disease. I think it is a general perception that CBD products like this could be effective to overcome symptoms of Crohn disease like anxiety, depression etc. I only found this study https://academic.oup.com/ibdjournal/article/20/3/472/4578983 which says that there were mixed results about the use of medical marijuana for Crohn disease. Many studies also suggest it predicts the chances either patient needs surgical treatment for Crohn. By the way, it is clear that it helps to overcome Crohn pains.

My family uses CBD Oil from Infinite CBD and they experience great results. They use to make suppositories which were his favorite but they do not make them any more.
https://infinitecbd.com is where we buy it. They have a discount code for people with crohn's, it is "crohns".
WIsh you luck friend.

Cannabis oils are generally deemed safe the chemicals and ratios of each but this can irritate your lungs. Plus, experts still aren’t sure about the long-term effects of vaping. Generally, vaping ] isn’t recommended if you have lung cancer. there’s not enough evidence to suggest that cannabis oil can cure cancer. but there are so many cannabis product mostly that can cure even cancer here in this site:

Wow! My story is very similar. Except that I'm a 62 year old male. I run about 800 miles a year so not an elite runner but it's what I can do. I ran my first marathon last year. I smoke when I have a flare up because nothing else really works. The problem has been the last couple of years as soon as I quit smoking the flare up begins within a week to ten days. I just started Humira a couple of months ago and not really working yet. After reading your story I will now try the CDB oil. Thank you so much for sharing. Any particular brand or website I can find the particular product you are using?

CBD has several benefits on our entire body. It Repose Pain, Diminish anxiety and depression, Lowers down cancer symptoms, Reduces Acne, Comfort Heart Rate, and also good for neurological System.
It cures us without any sort of side effects. Last few months, I was suffering through anxiety and depression. I ordered CBD anxiety and depression capsules from Cali's best CBD. Now, I have recovered.

I, personally, don’t have Crohn’s or colitis, but have IBS. I’ve done A LOT of research on marijuana, CBD’s, etc..... and what I’ve come to learn is they work better when taken together, so get a 50/50 THC/CBD edible (smoke if your too nauseated to eat) and try some different strains that are specifically for Crohn’s. Experiment until you find what works best for you & I hope you find it ASAP.
My 23 year old son was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis a year ago. He’s currently in the hospital for his worst flare up; it took the doctors a week to figure out that the IV prednisone and weak pain meds weren’t working. He had his first infusion yesterday; can’t remember the name of the drug. For the first time in weeks he was able to sleep for a little while.
With colon cancer on my mothers side of the family (multiple people have died), and my ex-husband having rectal cancer a few years ago the doctors are telling my son that it’s inevitable that he’ll get it. :(
This SUCKS in every way, shape & form. For anybody who has this horrid disease, I wish I could fix you all.....nobody deserves this.

I have had colitis for the past 34 years. I have been put on asacal, prednisone, and suppositories and nothing worked. I smoked cigarettes, each time I quit I had my colitis back within 3 weeks. It was never a flare up because it never stopped unless I went back to smoking cigarettes. I tried keeping it to 8 or less a day and would jog 5 to 15 miles, 5 times a week, lift weights, and adjusted my diet. Fast forward, I got breast cancer 6 months ago, went through radiation and am on tamoxifen, quit smoking for good and sure enough my old friend colitis came visiting again. I heard about CBD oil so started taking it orally, 1000 mg. For the first time ever, I have found that CBD oil takes all the symptoms away! I have tried asacal, prednisone, suppositories, accupuncture, nicotine gum, nicotine patch, artificial cigarettes and over 34 years nothing worked until I took CBD oil. I am now 6 months cigarette free, cancer free, and colitis symptom free. I wish I knew an organization that could study this or my own personal experience. I didn't want to smoke, I made a deal with the devil and lost to breast cancer but I have survived and am symptom free. For anyone out there, quit smoking, or even if you dont, try this instead, it could save your life.

Medical marijuana is made of dried parts of the Cannabis sativa plant. Humans haveturned to it as an herbal remedy for centuries.

Hi there, I started using CBD as a way to help my symptoms about a year ago. For me, it totally helps me cope.
I have found the easiest way for me to consume it is through gummies.

Good morning: I ma considering trying CBD oil for my crohn's. Most of my symptoms are well controlled with sulfasalazine but I have low back pain and constant, overwhelming fatigue. Does this increase your fatigue or have any impact on it. I am hoping if it can get the inflammation under control, I can get a handle on the fatigue.
Thank you for any information that you can provide.

I have found much-needed relief via CBD. I prefer CBD to help manage my symptoms because marijuana has THC in it which makes me anxious and paranoid.

I use cbd oil to help with my crohns disease. It seems to help with the spasms and it seems to slow down the digestion. I have used the oil for about a year now and i would reccomend it to anyone who suffers from crohns. But a word of advise, before you purchase the oil check the seller out and any reviews you can find. I recently purchased some oil from another shop and it does not seem to work as well as it should.

So my wife has Crohn's disease and this site had an article on the benefits of CBD for Crohns. Can't find it now though.
From what I have read CBD is actually effective for Crohn disease. Also here is the news site: <a href="thecannabisradar.com">

I use And 10:1 cbd tinctures it helps my pain so much I broke down in tears out of joy that something finally was relieving the pain my doctor's seem to keep not handling. It helps with nausea sometimes. Smoking the thc helps my mental health and helps me handle being in constant pain. Smoking thc also helps the most with my nausea and appetite. Most of the time I don't even want to eat because I know what food will do to me and it makes me sick so I have to smoke to sleep. I absolutely suggest trying CBD oils at least first. It changed my life. I went from wanting to kill myself because the feeling that things would never get better. My body wasn't reacting to the biologics and we were getting to the point of chemo being an option to control my Crohn's. No chemo just weed and I'm still here.

I see you mentioned weight loss. Do you mean it helped to gain because you were underweight? Or do you mean you used it to lose weight?

Well, apparently I've been self medicating my symptoms for many years. I've been hitting walls with doctors for a decades for several different medical conditions and this past week I found out that it all is from Crohns. (Undiagnosed till last week) It helps with pain, joint inflammation, nausea, fever/chills, appetite, that exhausted dying feeling, sooths GI inflammation and other things for me. I have neuro issues as well. Higher levels of CBD helps the most. I'm going to be honest with my doctor and ask for medical. I've been on so many different medications over the years and had so many side effects and had nothing really help. This has helped the most and I've had no side effects other than getting fat and laughing too much at moth memes.

I have UC and a permanent ileostomy, but have been hospitalized multiple times for epigastric pain. After my most recent hospitalization in May, I was taking Percocet for 6 weeks. I was careful when I took it, and how often, which is why I didn't get addicted.
My GI wasn't too keen on me trying medical marijuana, but I went ahead and did it anyways. I had trouble falling asleep, and not only did it help me sleep better, it helped with my pain.
If you are experiencing pain from inflammation, it will work wonders. If you are experiencing pain from an obstruction/stricture (like I am), it won't help as much. Although it definitely does take the edge off, it does not help with excruciating pain. For example, pain level 6-8 it will help. 9 or above, it will make you a little drowsy but it won't alleviate severe pain.

Hi I do not have Crohns but I have ulcerative colitis and I found an immense amount of relief from medicinal marijuana! From pain, weight loss, stress management and my inflammation. Im not sure how different our diseases are but Im such an advocate. All the medicines they put me on were so harsh and made more issues. CBD is a strong form that does not make you "high" and in most places accessible to anyone!

Yes! I have had Crohns for 45 years now. I've had bowel resections, bled internally, etc . . . . When I hit menopause, however, I became very nauseous which is the one side effects I never experienced. The side effects of pharmaceuticals left me with a migraine which made me throw up . . . . !
So I turned to Medical Marijuana. It works like a charm. Not only for nausea but it also helps me with gas and occassional pain. You will need to learn about the differenent strains; Stativa and Indica, and understand THC percentages. The dispensaries will usually have some one to help you through the process.
Good luck!

Hi there. I got my card a couple of months ago and have sound some relief with caramels that have a high cbd to thc ratio. I’ve also used some cbd oil and it helps a bit too. I think you need to experiment to see what works. The data suggests it should help people like us. Beware of high thc content if you want medicinal relief. My first try left me completely and unintentionally stoned for hours!
