Leaving the house -extra clothing

Tue, August 24, 2021 5:58 PM

I'm a man in my original "flare" of 2-1/2 years. Main problem now is fecal and sometimes urinary incontinence. I usually wear adult underwear/diapers at home with a disposable pad (like the ones people use so their dogs can poop indoors). I've taken to wearing a pair of plastic pants over this if I suspect a bad day. Due to colitis, Covid and being In immunotherapy, I leave home only for medical appointments, of which I have a few. I bring extra underwear and pads, some times an extra pair of pants and a shirt. My problem is, what to carry this in. I think a gym bag is too big to take into the doctors office and carry around, but other bags seem too small, and the zippers pop so everyone can see my supplies. Guys, what has worked best for you? I CV oilfield leave it in the car, but I don't want to be traipsing in and out of the office if I have had an accident. Thanks!

I know this post is old, but a backpack works well and doesn't like like a big purse.
