IBD quote ideas for a tattoo

Tue, January 29, 2013 7:04 PM

I have had UC since June 2010 and I am thinking if getting a tattoo with the purple IBD awareness ribbon. I was originally thinking of " life takes guts" or I" have guts"  But I think a quote might be better but not sure what. Here are a few I found, i think I like the first one best-

*You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it*

*She looked back on her life and realized everything that happened had only made her that much stronger*

*Everything will be okay in the end. If its not okay, its not the end*

*Some days there won't be a song in your heart. Sing anyway*

*When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on*

What do you all think? Does anyone have any other ideas?

That is a good quote. I will definitely post a picture once I choose a quote and get it done. I was in a book store today and while looking through a book about IBD, there was a bookmark inside. The bookmark had a quote by Plato- Courage is a kind of salvation.

I have a bracelet I wear to remind me to get through all of this  - it says "Life is Tough but I'm tougher".

Love to see the tattoo when you are done!  Good luck!
