Hi, from new member

Hi, everyone,

I am new to this forum, and hopeful that it will be helpful to me so I can "be there" for my new daughter-in-law (DIL), age 29,  who has Crohns. I am mindful that she is very private about this issue in her life.  But I hope to encourage her to share her concerns with me by learning as much about Crohns as I can from a credible source. I have so many questions, and I'm sure many that I haven't thought of yet.   I am concerned about  the foods she eats, the doctors she sees,  the meds she takes. I am concerned about her quality of life (which right now seems vibrant and balanced, with occasional flares).   And of course, I am concerned about pregnancy.

Thanks for inviting me into your group.   I think I'll "lurk" for a while to see what your own issues are, and get to know you better.   Looking forward to joining you soon.
