waiting

Well, my son had his CT scan to see if he has IBD, earlier today. He told me that he will have the results later today. I am sitting here on pins and needles, thinking of nothing else.

I made the stupid mistake of texting my son during a break in a conference i was attending. Turned out that the CT scan showed the same indicators that the blood tests did, so he has a colonscopy scheduled for Tuesday. I ran out of the room full of 525 people in tears, until I could collect myself. Stupid me, for texting him.

I understand, the waiting is Horrible. Try to be positive, If it is Crohn's let's hope it's mild.

Did your son have a colonoscopy? My best wish for a positive outcome

My son just texted me. He probably won't know, until next week. I don't know whether what will come first-his diagnosis or my committment to Belleview(psychiatriatric). I am going nuts!

Not yet

He's 24...a little stubborn, I suppose. He's had the blood work-up which showed something. My mother had an ileostomy from UC years ago, which has heightened my fear level, way beyond control. He had a shown markers, so his doctor did a CT scan yesterday. He said he should have results today. I am sitting on pins and needles. He gets po'd at me when I nag. Since my mom has the bag, you can understand my paranoia. Thank god everyone else is calm. LOLOL
