Finally free from ulcerative colitis

Wed, August 07, 2013 1:44 PM

First and foremost, we are all unique and what works for one, may not work for another because our bodies have different reserves and deficiencies.

This is my foundation and core values for living a healthy life, free from ulcerative colitis, and most diseases. We must have natural, unsynthesized nutrients to promote communication at a cellular level, to repair and maintain our body and brain.

Reduce stress
Exercise regularly
Eat organic (including meat)
Eat vegetables & fruit (cooked & raw)
Eat & drink in moderation (don’t over indulge)
Eat a variety of foods, nuts and drink lots of pure water
Don’t eat processed foods, consume added sugars, trans fats and synthesized ingredients

In addition to the above and of all the many things that I’ve tried on most of the colitis websites, these nutrients (twice daily mixed in water with a small, battery hand mixer) are what helped me to get off of the Prednisone and live a normal life:

1 tbs organic "Blackstrap Molassis"-Wholesome Sweetners
3 drops "Fulvic Ionic Minerals"-Optimally Organic
1 tsp “Vitamineral Green”-Health Force
1 tsp “Tumeric”-Organic India
1 tsp “Nutritional Yeast” flakes-KAL or Lewis Labs
1 to 2 capsules-“VeganZyme” digestive enzymes
¼ tsp “Ginger Root” powder-Organic India
¼ tsp “Triphala”-Organic India
2 “Every Man II” dietary supplements-NEW CHAPTER
Vitamin D from the SUN!
MAINTAIN A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE & BELIEVE in nutrition over drugs.

It is my belief that our bodies are designed to function properly on a variety of good nutrition consisting of organic fruit, vegetables, meat and lots of water to maintain a proper balance and stay healthy. How we think is equally important. I look at U/C as an equivalent benefit and blessing. Without it, I may not have changed my life for the better.

Hi Joselyn,

Amazon.com is where I get most everything - ionic mineral drops, blackstrap molassis, New Chapter whole food vitamins & more (delivered to my door). The digestive enzymes from Ebay.com, the tumeric, triphala & geinger root from Organic India USA (1 lb for $12). I've spent many months researching products & trying them and after positive results I search the internet for the best price then try to buy in bulk because I know I'll be using them for the rest of my life. There are a lot of claims from probiotics, aloe vera and many more products that just didn't work for me. You can get too much of one supplement which would do more harm than good. Be careful! Try to get your nutrition from a variety of foods or whole food supplements only (without titanium dioxide, magnesium stearate or silicone dioxide). I believe that these ingredients which are used as lubricants to help flow through machinery, causes a bio-film over the mico villi in our intestines, causing damage & less ability to absorb nutrients. These 3 ingredients are in most supplements and quite possibly be one culprit in causing some of our problems. I'm unsure however, what I'm doing is working! It takes time, so be patient.

I couldn't agree more with you! And you saying that you managed to get off prednisone is a huge inspiration for me! Anyway where do you find all organic products and supplements? Because where I live is really hard to. Thanks!
