FINALLY! Found the right Dietitian & Nutritionist (RD/LDN) to help me with my IBD (Colitis & Crohn’s)

Thu, September 12, 2013 9:34 PM

After an exhaustive search on the internet, I finally found the right Registered Dietitian (RD) & Licensed Dietitian & Nutritionist (LDN) to help me with my Crohn’s Disease. What attracted me to her was that she had Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) as well and cured it naturally. She works via phone or Skype conversations and an expert with IBD, IBS and Diabetes. She has free webinars where you can listen to her Healing System. The basis for the 3 Step IBD (Colitis & Crohn’s) Healing System is the following:
Remove all irritants from intestines plus reduce colon inflammation and heal colon mucosa by using therapeutic diets, foods and supplements
Heal, Repair and Regenerate the bowels by normalizing intestinal flora
Improve digestion and absorption of foods by introducing special gut healing diet and enzymes
She introduced me to beneficial probiotics (good bacteria), Medicinal clay, formulas to eliminate Candida Albica (which is common in IBD due to use of antibiotics and steroids), pancreatic enzymes as well as guiding me through food allergy and other testing needed to confirm issues.
Now I can eat pretty much what I want even foods with spice, nuts and seeds.
Think about it this way. If you cut your finger, you put a band aid on it and it will heal in about a week. If you cut your finger and proceed to hit it with a hammer all the time, then it will not heal and probably get worse. It’s the same with the inside of your body. If you are only consuming the Standard American Diet (SAD) then you are not nourishing your body with the things it needs to heal. Also, we are affected daily with environment toxins, GMO’s, bugs and parasites in the food and water.
Now I consider myself well educated on what I need to do to stay healthy and live a long normal life. I also found a passion to help others like you get better as well by sharing my experiences. Send me an email and I can provide more information. My email is jamenta3@gmail.com

I am interested in starting to take probiotics, but there are so many out there I am not sure which ones are the best.  I was diagnosed in April 2012 and I have been in remission since September 2012.  I have noticed recently that certain foods are starting to affect me, so I want to change my diet too.

Hi Hans409,

Please send an email to jamenta3@gmail.com so we can chat more in depth.  There is a 2000 character limitation on text so better if we just email.

Thanks
Jason

I'm interested in hearing your ideas about conquering IBD.  From your experience it sounds like you have had quite a ride with this disease, but it I'm guessing you have a lot to share.
I do not have Crohn's disease or have had any surgery.  I have UC I first got it in 2004 with a flare lasting three months treated with prednisone.  It was in remission until April of this year.  I have been battling with it since then with prednisone and made major diet changes.  As of today  the flare is in remission.
Looking forward to hearing your ideas
