There is no single diet that works for everyone--different people have different sensivities. I suggest that you ask your gastroenterologist to refer you to a licensed nutritionist who has experience with patients with inflammatory bowel disease. The nutritionist will be able to guide you along toward a diet that is both healhful and well-tolerated. If your insurance does not cover a nutritionist and you can't afford one on your own, you can just proceed by trial and error, seeing which kinds of food groups trigger your symptoms and which don't. It's a laborious process, but there's usually no way around it. But there are no universal panacea diets that work for everyone with IBD.
