Hi my daughter, who is 12, was just put on EEN diet.  Is anyone on this diet?  if yes, how is it working and any suggestion on recipes.  thanks

Vitamins and supplements are essential for maintaining optimal health, especially when dietary intake falls short. Products like multivitamins, fish oil, and herbal supplements can fill nutritional gaps and support various body functions. Among these, Omega XL has gained attention for its unique blend of omega-3 fatty acids derived from green-lipped mussels. Omega XL reviews often highlight its effectiveness in reducing inflammation and joint pain, making it a popular choice for individuals seeking natural pain relief. As with any supplement, it's important to consult a healthcare professional before starting to ensure it fits your specific health needs.

Yes, it is important to ask the doctor about the sensitivities of your child to the foods. Nutrition plays an important role in the care of IBD patients especially the children.

Before trying any diets or cutting out foods, you should have her get blood work done for a food sensitivities test. I had one done through my Naturopath and found out that I was sensitive to sugar, some wheat, all dairy, egg whites, and mushrooms. Since then, I have cut out all processed sugar (using substitutes such as 100% natural maple syrup, coconut sugar, and honey), gluten (using rice and almond flour), and dairy (drinking almond milk). Since cutting those out, especially dairy, I feel SO MUCH BETTER. I definitely recommend her being checked for any food sensitivities so that she doesn't have to cut out foods that her body is happy with and able to digest properly.

I sell raw goats milk.  I have a customer who says for the first time in two years, she has no more tummy aches.  FYI
