Jenny , Thanks for the information. Does the book say anything about coconut oil, tumeric or cumene being beneficial?

my daughter was diagnosed in 2008 at the age of 13.  through the years she has done food combining, vegetarianism, veganism, and and now autoimmune paleo (aip) diet.

the aip diet is the one that helped put her into remission.  even though it's a strict diet, she knows that it's well worth it to not have pain, bleeding, etc.

basically the aip diet consists of veggies (no night shades ie, tomatoes, eggplant & peppers),  grass-fed meat, and eggs.

her go-to recipe book is:

the autoimmune paleo cookbook: an allergen-free approach to managing chronic illness

My son has Crohn's disease and his digestion system does not break down fruits and veggies so to get the nutrients he needs he takes juice plus +.  He has done so well since taking it and wants to continue to take it, so I started to promote it to off set the cost. It is just dried food that still has the nutrients in chewy or capsule form, not a supplement. He started first taking the chews and now takes the capsules ...it has helped give him the energy he needs to keep going. Since he is getting the nutrients he needs now without trying to digest the raw food it has really made a big difference in his life and glad to be helping anyone else with similar circumstances. You can email me at LeAnnoblander@gmail.com so I can send you further information, I want to share all I can about this so anyone with this disease can live the best life possible.
