Probiotic Advice Needed

Sun, November 13, 2016 5:07 PM

I'm new here and looking forward to joining the community. I've was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis more than 25 years ago and although I experienced bowel issues throughout my life I was only diagnosed with Colitis recently. My doc changed my anti-TNF med from Enbrel to Simponi to help with the bowel issues as well as the arthritis. My immune system is really doing a job on my body. I have been going through a huge flare recently and trying to watch my diet for clues.

At this time, I am able to drink a yogurt fortified with probiotics, but who knows what I'm getting out of it. So, I'd like to start taking a good product to really help my gut. Can any of you suggest products you have found helpful, please?

DrAxe.com has great supplements and information for Leaky Gut and managing digestive disease. I take his probiotics and they are great and helping my digestion. Also take a lot of turmeric. I've had UC since 1987 so I've tried a lot of things and these products are the best for me anyway. Good luck.

I am newly diagnosed also. I personally enjoy "GoodBelly Probiotic OAT Straightshot". One a day. Little sugar. Tastes good. I am not sure how much probiotic you are looking to consume but this one has 20billion live and active.
