Diet before colonoscopy (scd or ibd-aid)

Before I get started I'm sory for the long post. Hi I'm 21 years old, I currently have been having a flare (which only entails blood in stool) and will be having a colonoscopy in a little over a month. Depending on the results which my doctor believes will show inflammation, I will probably be put on humira which I'm trying to avoid (currently on meslamine). My question is would it be worth it to try the scd diet or a the ibd-aid before my colonoscopy. I'm particularly interested in the ibd-aid diet as I lift and there are more carbs for my macros. With this being said the week before my colonoscopy I will be going on vacation and will prob forced to cheat. One other thing to add is that I do count my macros, only eat healthy non prepackaged food, and avoid gluten and dairy, which has kept me in remission for four years, so is a restrictive diet even worth it in your option. Sory for the long post and thank you.

good for you!

I havent tried the ibd-aid but I did SCD and had great success.  Be careful on vacation too if possible.  In the days leading up to colonoscopy I eat only really gentle cooked foods and homemade probiotic yogurt.  the brasco broth is a good soothing one too
